VidAI connects to YouTube Studio and uses the YouTube Data API or browser automation to add localized titles and descriptions. Here’s how to set it up.

Step 1: Install VidAI from the Chrome Web Store

  1. Open the Chrome Web Store.
  2. Search for VidAI and open the extension page.

Step 3: Open a Video in YouTube Studio

  1. Go to YouTube Studio at studio.youtube.com.
  2. Open Content and select the video you want to translate.
  3. In the video details view, look for the VidAI panel or section.

VidAI uses your existing title and description as the source text. It does not overwrite your original language.

Step 4: Use the "Auto Title & Description" Button

  1. In the VidAI section, find the Auto Title & Description button.
  2. Click it to start automatic translation.
  3. VidAI creates localized titles and descriptions for the languages you’ve configured and adds them as official YouTube localizations.

You don’t need to copy and paste text into each language field manually.

Step 5: Let VidAI Process

VidAI needs a short time to generate and publish the translations. You can stay on the page or switch tabs while it runs. When it’s done, the new localizations are saved in YouTube Studio.

Step 6: Review Your Translations

  1. In YouTube Studio, open the Details page for the video.
  2. Go to the Translations / Language section.
  3. Check the localized titles and descriptions that VidAI added.

You can edit or remove any localization directly in YouTube Studio if you want to adjust wording for specific markets.
