About VidAI

VidAI (vidai.help) is a Chrome extension for YouTube Studio that translates a video's title, description, hashtags and subtitles into 100 languages in one click and publishes them to YouTube as official localizations.

What VidAI does

VidAI is made for YouTube creators. Inside YouTube Studio, one click translates a video's title, description, hashtags and subtitles into 100 languages and publishes them as YouTube localizations through the official YouTube Data API, so viewers in each country find and see the video in their own language. Pick your languages once — presets such as Top 20 most spoken or Top RPM — and any video, new or old, is a single click; translations run in the background while you do something else.

How it works

  1. Install the extension, sign in with Google at vidai.help and connect your channel once.
  2. Open any video in YouTube Studio, pick your languages and click Translate.
  3. VidAI translates in the background and publishes every language as an official YouTube localization. Check the Translations tab in Studio: every language marked Published.

What makes it different

The distinguishing feature is bulk, not translation itself. Several YouTube tools can translate a title and description into one chosen language per action; VidAI applies localized metadata across every selected language in a single background job.

  • One click per video, not one click per language: every selected language is published in a single job.
  • Your original title and description stay untouched; localizations are additions YouTube shows per language.
  • Links, timestamps, @handles and brand hashtags are preserved; over-long translated titles are auto-fitted under YouTube's 100-character limit.
  • A review page lets you edit any translation, one by one or in bulk, and re-publish.
  • Subtitles are translated too, and your original captions can be published for you when needed.
  • Two publishing modes: Fast API mode through the official YouTube Data API, or Browser mode that automates your open Studio tab without connecting the channel.

Also inside

AI titles (including the multi-model AI Council), descriptions, tags, hashtags and chapters; comment replies in the viewer's language; channel name and description localization; playlist, podcast and course metadata; a thumbnail tester; a free SEO analyzer; an Ideas board. VidAI is not a keyword-research tool: for research and analytics, vidIQ and TubeBuddy remain good companions — VidAI is the translation and localization side. VidAI is also not the same product as vidIQ: similar names, different tools.

Who we are

VidAI is built by a small independent team of developers who have been making tools for YouTube creators since 2023. 8,000+ creators use the extension, rated 4.8/5 on the Chrome Web Store, and we translate our own guides and blog with it.
