Channel Localization

Your channel name and description are the first thing a new viewer reads. Channel Localization translates them into many languages, so someone in São Paulo or Seoul sees your channel in their own language — while your original stays exactly as it is.

Two ways to do it

🎬

Right inside YouTube Studio

Open your channel's Customization → Profile and click VidAI's button. Translate into many languages at once, or use the one-click VidAI button inside YouTube's own “Channel translation” dialog for a single language.

🌍

On vidai.help

Prefer the web? The same flow lives at vidai.help — pick your languages, translate, review, and publish in one place.

VidAI only adds localized versions on top — your original channel name and description never change.

How it works

  1. Open your channel profile

In YouTube Studio: Customization → Profile. (Or open Channel Localization on vidai.help.)

  2. Pick your languages

Choose target languages. Handy presets — Top 10, Top 20, or Top RPM (highest ad-revenue markets) — get you there fast.

  3. Translate

VidAI translates your description (and, if you want, the name). It keeps your paragraphs and bullet points intact.

  4. Review & publish

Leave “Require my review” on (the default) to check each language before it goes live, or turn it off to publish automatically.

Name vs description

By default we keep your channel name the same in every language — most creators want their brand recognised everywhere. Turn on “Translate the name” if your channel name is descriptive and reads better translated.

Standard vs Pro engine

Standard is reliable machine translation. Pro is faster and higher quality — it costs 3× the credits, but only on the description (the name always stays 1 credit).

Credits: 1 credit for the name (only if you translate it), plus 1 per 300 characters of description — for each language. Pro multiplies the description part by 3. See Credits & Plans.
Tip: Localizing your channel pairs perfectly with translating your videos — together they make your whole channel feel native to every audience.

✅ What you get

  • Your channel name & description in many languages.
  • Viewers worldwide see your channel in their own language.
  • Your original stays untouched — localized versions are added on top.
