The full version is the powerful one: it reads your video's spoken content so the description reflects the real video, which is exactly what helps it get found.

How to use it

  1. Open the video in YouTube Studio

    Find the VidAI generate options near the description area.

  2. Pick short or full

    Short for speed; Full for a search-optimized, comprehensive write-up.

  3. Generate and review

    Read it over, tweak anything you'd phrase differently.

  4. Apply it

    Drop it into YouTube's description field and save.

Note: The full SEO description is the heavier action — it reads the whole video — so it costs more credits than the short one. See Credits & Plans for the exact costs.
Tip: Generate the full description, then translate it with Translation to reach viewers in other languages without rewriting anything.

Tuned per channel (v1.8.15+)

Descriptions run on the same per-channel brain as titles. In the ⚙ settings panel (the gear on the VidAI tools) you can set, for this channel: description style (auto / SEO / storytelling / minimalist) and length, whether to append a like/subscribe CTA paragraph, and whether to auto-append your saved useful links (course, Discord, newsletter). The result also follows your channel's voice via Channel Intelligence and the channel's chosen output language — so descriptions automatically match your titles.

Plan note: the description style / length / CTA / links controls are PRO settings — without PRO you still get the solid standard description, just without the fine-tuning. The full per-channel settings walkthrough lives on the AI Titles page.
