Credits & Plans

VidAI runs on credits. The idea is simple: small actions cost a little, big actions cost more, and the longer you're with VidAI the more you effectively get.

What a credit is

A credit is just the unit VidAI uses to measure work. Generating a title is light. Writing a full SEO description that reads your entire video is heavy. You spend credits in proportion to how much work an action takes — so you're never overpaying for the small stuff.

Light vs heavy actions

🪶

Light

Titles, short descriptions, tags, hashtags, a single comment reply. These cost very little each.

🏋️

Heavy

The full SEO description (reads the whole video) and bulk translation across many languages cost more — they're doing a lot more work.

The extension always shows your current balance, so there are no surprises.

Two kinds of credits

  1. Plan credits

Your subscription includes a regular allowance that refreshes with your billing cycle. For most creators this covers day-to-day use.

  2. Extra credits

Need more in a busy month? You can top up with extra credits any time. They're used after your plan allowance, so nothing is wasted.

How translation credits are calculated

Translation is the one feature priced by how much text it processes, so it's worth understanding the rule — it's simple:

About 1 credit per ~300 characters of text, per language. Translating a 600-character description into 1 language ≈ 2 credits; into 5 languages ≈ 10. Short fields (a 60-character title) round up to 1 credit each. Re-used / already-translated text is nearly free — VidAI caches translations, so re-running a job or translating text it has seen before costs about 1 credit instead of re-charging the whole thing.

Two practical consequences: (1) subtitles cost more than titles because there's far more text; (2) translating the same video again after a small edit is cheap, because only the changed part is new work. There's nothing to calculate by hand — VidAI shows the credits used on every translation job.

Free vs paid — what each plan includes

Free accounts can use VidAI and have a starter credit allowance — enough to genuinely try every feature. Paid plans raise the monthly allowance, unlock the heavier Pro actions, and the loyalty bonus starts compounding. Exact allowances, prices and what each tier unlocks are on the Plans & pricing page — that's always current. Manage or change your plan any time in Manage subscription.

The loyalty bonus

Sticking with VidAI pays off literally: long-term subscribers earn a growing loyalty bonus, so over time the same plan effectively gives you more credits. You don't have to do anything — it builds up as you stay.

Where to see exact numbers: Live per-action costs, your balance and plan details are always shown in the VidAI popup and on the Plans page — that's the source of truth, since pricing can change over time. Open VidAI →
Tip: Doing a lot at once? Generate the light things freely, and save the heavy full-description + bulk-translation for the videos that really need the reach.
