About three minutes from nothing to your first AI-written title. No accounts to juggle, no copy-pasting between websites.
Install the VidAI extension
Open VidAI on the Chrome Web Store and click the blue Add to Chrome button, then Add extension in the popup Chrome shows. (On a new computer or browser? That same link is all you need — open it there and click Add to Chrome.) It runs quietly and only wakes up on YouTube.
Pin it so it's one click away
Click the puzzle-piece 🧩 icon at the top-right of Chrome, find VidAI in the list, and click the pin 📌 next to it. The VidAI icon now sits in your toolbar permanently — that's the button you'll use to sign in and check credits.
Sign in to link your account
Click the VidAI icon in your toolbar to open the popup, then click Sign in. A tab opens, you confirm, and you're linked. You'll see a green "Signed in to VidAI ✓" confirmation. No password to create — it's the same account as vidai.help.
Open a video in YouTube Studio
Go to studio.youtube.com, open any video, and click Edit (or the details page). VidAI quietly adds its tools right under YouTube's own fields — you don't install anything else.
Generate your first result
Find the VidAI title section, type a short brief if you like, and click Generate. A few seconds later the suggestions appear right there. Pick one — it drops straight into YouTube's field.
Using VidAI on more than one computer
Editing from a laptop and a studio machine? You don't have to sign in again on each one. Open the one-time extension link in the browser you want to connect — it links that browser's VidAI in seconds, no second sign-in needed. The link is single-use and valid for one hour, so it's safe to generate whenever you switch machines.
✅ You're set up when…
- The VidAI popup shows your email and your credit balance.
- You see VidAI tools added under YouTube's fields on a video page.
- Your first generated suggestion appeared and dropped into place.
