Not every great video is one you made — some just spark something. Ideas lets you catch the videos that inspire you, see why they worked, and turn them into your own.

What Ideas is

Ideas is your private board of videos you've saved from YouTube, grouped into workspaces (by niche, by series, or by channel). You reach it any time at vidai.help/ideas — and you save to it in one click, right from YouTube.

Save a video in one click

1. Hit Save to Ideas

   On any YouTube video, VidAI adds a small capsule near the channel row. Click 💡 Idea — the video is saved to your current workspace instantly, with a quick “Added” confirmation.

2. Pick or create a workspace

   Use the ▾ next to it to choose a different workspace or create a new one. VidAI can even suggest a themed name based on the video (for example, “Dark Country Music”).

3. It lands on your board

   Open vidai.help/ideas and your saved video is there — thumbnail, channel, views and more — ready to study.

Open any saved idea and VidAI shows its top keywords (by frequency) next to its real stats — so instead of guessing, you can spot the title and topic patterns behind a hit.

Copy for AI — find the patterns

One click on ✨ Copy for AI copies a clean, structured brief of a video — title, link, channel, stats, tags, keywords, the thumbnail link and the full description. Paste it into ChatGPT or Claude and ask “why does this work, and how would I make my own?” Works for one video or a whole selection at once.

Work in bulk

Turn on Select, tick a few ideas (or Select all), then from the ⋮ menu you can move them to another workspace, download their thumbnails, Copy for AI for the whole batch, or remove them.
