Email & Password Login

Prefer not to use Google every time? VidAI now has an optional email-and-password sign-in. It changes nothing about how you already log in — Google stays the main way in — it just adds a second door you can open if you want it.

Short answer: sign in with Google as usual, set a password in Settings, and from then on you can log in at vidai.help/login with just your email and that password. Forgot it? Sign in with Google again and set a new one.

Google sign-in is still the main way in

Nothing about your current login changes. New accounts are still created by signing in with Google, and you can keep using Sign in with Google forever without ever touching a password. The email-and-password option is purely additive — set it only if you want it.

Set a password (optional)

  1. Sign in and open Settings

    Sign in to vidai.help the way you already do (with Google), then open Settings.

  2. Find the Email & Password Login card

    Scroll to the Email & Password Login section. This is where you set — or later change — your password.

  3. Choose a password and save

    Type a password of at least 8 characters, confirm it in the second field, and click save. That's it — your account now also accepts email-and-password sign-in.

Already have a password set? The same card lets you replace it any time — just enter a new one and save. The old password stops working immediately.

Sign in with email and password

  1. Open the login page

    Go to vidai.help/login. You'll see an email field, a password field, and the familiar Sign in with Google button below.

  2. Enter your email and password

    Type the email on your VidAI account and the password you set in Settings, then click Sign in. The email isn't case-sensitive.

  3. You're in

    You land straight on your dashboard, exactly as you would after a Google sign-in.

Forgot your password?

There are no reset emails and nothing to recover. If you forget your password, just use Sign in with Google on the login page — that always works — then open Settings and set a new password. The old one is replaced instantly.

Why no email reset? Keeping recovery tied to your Google account is simpler and safer — there's no reset link to intercept and no extra email to manage. Your Google login is always the trusted fallback.
